NATURA

‘NATURA’ is the nature club of Farook Training college and is affiliated to Malabar Natural History Society.‘ Conserve the nature, Build the future’ is the slogan of Natura. Those who are interested in environmental conservation activities can join Natura. Natura conducts nature camps, field trips, eco campaign etc. 

To be at harmony with nature is the motto of the  Natura – The Nature Club of Farook Training College. The  Natura  promotes environmental awareness and carries out a number of programmes both in and out the college campus. The  Natura  has been promoting Green Farming every year so that students divided into groups are responsible for planting, watering, maintaining and harvesting vegetables which are donated to the GLPS Karinkallai school as part of the institution’s School Adoption Project.  The  Natura  enforces strict measure to maintain a plastic waste free campus and has planted a number of trees in the campus. Campus beautification, field visits to Botanical Garden at University of Calicut, Nature camps, observation of important days such as the World Environment Day, World Forest Day, Water Conservation Day are other important activities.
