Role of the Governing Body of the Institution:

 

1.      Strategic Leadership:

President (Jb. P. K. Ahammed): Provides overall leadership and strategic direction to the institution's governing body. Acts as the chief executive officer, overseeing the implementation of policies and decisions.

2.      Academic Oversight:

 Vice President (Prof. A. Kuttialikutty): Takes a lead role in academic matters, providing expertise and guidance on educational policies, curriculum development, and quality assurance.

3.      Administrative Management:

 Secretary (Jb. S. Mohammed Yunus):, Responsible for day-to-day operational management, ensuring that the institution runs efficiently. He Oversees communication, and ensures that decisions of the governing body are effectively communicated and implemented.

Joint Secretary (Jb. M. Ayub): Assists the Secretary in administrative tasks, helping coordinate activities and ensuring smooth functioning.

Treasurer (Jb. K. T. Hassan Koya): Manages financial matters, including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation.

 Manager (Prof. E. P. Imbichikoya): Manages administrative functions

4.      Members of the Governing Body:

Jb. P. P. Kunhamed Koya, Jb. Aju Abdul Rahma, Jb. K. E. Moidu: Contribute diverse perspectives and expertise to decision-making processes. Participate actively in discussions and provide valuable insights. 

5.      Ex-Officio Members: 

Jb. K. V. Kunhamed Koya, Dr. Aysha Swapna K. A., Prof. (Dr.) T. Mohamed Saleem: Serve as members by virtue of their official positions, bringing specific knowledge and experience to the governing body.

6.      Collective Decision-Making:

Joint Decision Making: The governing body collectively makes decisions on key institutional policies, academic programs, financial matters, and other strategic initiatives.

7.      Financial Oversight:

Financial Planning and Oversight: The Treasurer, in collaboration with other members, ensures prudent financial management, approves budgets, and monitors financial performance.

8.      Stakeholder Representation:

Representing Stakeholder Interests: Members, including the President and Vice President, act as liaisons with various stakeholders such as students, faculty, and the community, ensuring their interests are considered in decision-making.

9.      Policy Formulation and Review:

Policy Development: Develops and reviews institutional policies, ensuring they align with the institution's mission, vision, and relevant regulatory requirements.

10.  Accountability and Transparency:

Ensuring Accountability: The governing body is accountable for the institution's overall performance and adherence to ethical and legal standards.

11.  Periodic Review and Evaluation:

Performance Evaluation: Periodically reviews the institution's performance, assesses the effectiveness of policies, and identifies areas for improvement.

12.  Advisory Role:

Providing Guidance: The governing body provides guidance to the institution's leadership, offering advice and support in strategic decision-making.
