Introduction:
Farook Training College recognizes the importance of sustainable energy practices and their significant role in preserving our environment. As an institution committed to excellence in education and responsible citizenship, we are dedicated to minimizing our energy consumption and promoting a culture of energy conservation among our teachers, staff, and students. This energy policy document outlines our key objectives and strategies for achieving our energy- saving goals.
Objective:
Our primary objective is to reduce energy consumption and minimize our carbon footprint through the implementation of sustainable practices, while simultaneously educating and engaging our college community in energy conservation efforts. The objectives are as follows.

To reduce emissions and pollutants by utilizing environmentally friendly transportation options, such as bicycles and public transportation, and by promoting the development of pedestrian-friendly roads.

To initiate dialogues with government agencies, municipal corporations, and affiliated universities, and actively collaborate with local organizations in the areas of environmental conservation, energy efficiency, and sustainable development.

Policy Statements:
Sensitization:
We will promote awareness and sensitization among teachers, staff, and students regarding the importance of energy conservation. Regular workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns will be conducted to educate the college community about energy-saving practices and their positive environmental impact. New approaches will be encouraged among students especially science students through the innovative club of the college.
Low Energy Consumption Equipment:
We are committed to purchasing and utilizing energy-efficient equipment across our campus. All new equipment and appliances will be selected based on their energy efficiency ratings. Existing equipment will be periodically evaluated to identify opportunities for energy-saving upgrades or replacements.
Energy Audit:
To assess and monitor our energy consumption, regular energy audits will be conducted to identify areas of high energy usage and potential energy-saving opportunities. The findings of these audits will inform our energy conservation initiatives and help set targets for reducing energy consumption.
Student Teacher Training:

Solar Power Plant
As part of our efforts to enhance energy conservation practices, the college has installed solar power plant, which are highly beneficial in reducing emissions and pollutants.
